SARAH WILDE

Profile picture_edited.jpg

Sarah Wilde blames her father for her writing career. Whilst she was growing up he told her she could do anything she put her mind to. He didn’t tell her that her blonde hair would mean she was taken less seriously at work. He never warned her that some men would talk to her breasts rather than look her in the eye. He failed to mention that barmen would raise their eyebrows every time she ordered a pint. She’s been trying to make sense of the world ever since.

Why are things different for women? Why is the world like it is? How could women instigate change?

The Completist trilogy is set in the near future and attempts to answer those questions, through the experiences of twin sisters and the life altering decision one twin makes.

Sarah Wilde now lives in France with her small, black dog, Toby.
